In response to the devastation to New Orleans’ Holy Cross neighborhood caused by Hurricane Katrina, Global Green USA committed to help rebuild this Ninth Ward community while demonstrating best practices through the new construction of five LEED certified single family homes and 20 LEED certified rental units. GCHP serves as co-developer of the project, adding support to Global Green in its local development endeavors.
The five single family homes were completed in 2011 and achieved Global Green USA’s requisite LEED certification goals. The 20 rental units are in pre-development phase.
