GCHP led the redevelopment of 1626 Oretha Castle Haley Boulevard, overseeing the transformation of the 9,000-square-foot historic two-story commercial building located in Central City, New Orleans.    In the late 19th century, the building housed Lehman’s Furniture Store,  later transitioning into McCrory’s five-and-dime from 1938 until the late 1960s.  Currently, the building serves as GCHP’s corporate headquarters with additional commercial space occupied by one of GCHP’s community partners.
