The New Orleans Mission is the region’s largest provider of homeless services, but the Mission’s men’s facility was in dire need of rehabilitation suffering from major structural deficiencies, roof leaks, and old/non-functioning systems. Funding from the state, NORA, Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas, and historic tax credit equity has allowed the substantial renovation of the New Orleans Mission to begin.

At the completion of all three phases, the entire structure will be restored and brought to code, including the installation of a new roof, the restoration of the building’s facade, the upgrade of all major systems, and the reconfiguring of the programming space.
