North Park Estates II in Gulfport is currently under construction. GCHP and South Mississippi Housing and Development (SMHD) have partnered together to develop a 40-unit affordable housing development adjacent to North Park Estates, which GCHP and SMHD successfully completed in 2022 on the site of the former L.C. Jones Public Housing community.

North Park Estates will feature one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments across a mix of duplex-style and multi-family style buildings. All homes will be constructed to FORTIFIED resiliency standards and meet National Green Building Standard energy efficiency guidelines. Residences will include in-unit washers and dryers, central heating and air, ceiling fans, and private patios.

In addition to quality housing, the development will introduce several new community amenities, including a walking trail, gazebo, playground, outdoor fitness area, and volleyball court. Residents will also have access to shared amenities from Phase 1, including a fully furnished on-site community building.
