In Hammond, GCHP is developing Phoenix Square II and III. Phoenix Square II will have 22 two-and four-bedroom apartment homes reserved for those making less than 60 % AMI. Project-based vouchers will support two units through the state’s supportive housing program, and five units will be set aside for single-parent households.

Phoenix Square 3 will have 24- one- and three-bedroom apartments reserved for those making less than 60 % AMI. The homes in both communities will be built according to National Green Building Standards and include EnergyStar appliances. They will also be rated FORTIFIED Multifamily Gold. Residents will share amenities, including an exercise room, community garden, playground, basketball court, and covered picnic area.
