GCHP is developing 12 acres of vacant land, centrally located in the City of Hammond, into a family friendly workforce housing neighborhood. This development will consist of 43 single family homes; all 3 bedroom, 2 bath. The neighborhood will have sidewalks connecting the homes on 2 cul-de-sac streets as well as a park and a community center for neighborhood meetings.

With an excellent location near the municipal services of Historic Downtown Hammond as well as local and national retail all within a half mile of the neighborhood, residents will be within walking distance of everyday necessities. Phase I of the project, consisting of 4 homes, is complete and the homes are occupied. GCHP is currently seeking funding for the remaining units of the project.
