In Clinton, Mississippi, GCHP partnered with Trinity Community Development to redevelop The Heights at Clinton, a USDA Rural Development multifamily housing community originally built in 1983.
The property includes 48 one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartment homes that meet the National Green Building Standard. Each home features a fully equipped kitchen with EnergyStar appliances and a tankless water heater. As part of the renovation, a newly constructed building was added to house a community clubhouse, laundry facilities, and a manager’s office. Additional amenities include a playground and a full-time service coordinator.
The homes are reserved for households earning 60% or less of the area median income (AMI), with select units set aside for residents with disabilities identified through the Mississippi Affirmative Olmstead Initiative.
