In Clinton, GCHP and partner Trinity Community Development will redevelop The Heights at Clinton, a USDA Rural Development multifamily housing complex initially constructed in 1983.

Once the renovation is complete, the one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartment homes will meet the National Green Building Standard and have fully equipped kitchens with EnergyStar Appliances and tankless water heaters. A new on-site building will hold a community clubhouse, laundry facilities, and a manager’s office. Other amenities include a playground and a full-time service coordinator.

The homes are reserved for those making 60% or less of the AMI, with units set aside for residents with disabilities targeted by the Mississippi Affirmative Olmstead Initiative.
